The piston rod is used as an executing component in the cylinder. When the cylinder is working, if it is desired to determine the force of the piston rod to transmit torque and bear the load according to the force required for the work, the thrust and the pulling force are not indispensable.  Cylinder piston rod thrust calculation formula: (ie theoretical output)
 
F: cylinder theoretical output force (kgf)
 
F': output force (kgf) at an efficiency of 85%--(F'=F×85%)
 
D: cylinder bore (mm)
 
P: working pressure (kgf/cm2)
 
Example: What is the theoretical output force of a cylinder with a diameter of 340 mm and a working pressure of 3 kgf/cm2? What is the output force?
 
Connect P and D to find the points on F and F', and get: F=2800kgf; F′=2300kgf
 
Select the cylinder bore diameter during engineering design, depending on the pressure used and the theoretical thrust or tension
